yes it is right
It looks good to me.
Hi @ZwwWayne & @FreyWang
But when I run the training script: python tools/train.py configs/mask_rcnn/mask_rcnn_r50_fpn_1x_coco.py
Check this error please.

the parameter classes
should be a tuple or a file name.
You have mentioned it as a string. It will think that its a file name and try to read from that.
Modify it to classes=('person')
Hi @deepakksingh check my original version of config file in first message. this last is from the console after running the training script. I am not sure why it changed the parameter classes from tuple to above i.e string. I even tried with filename but results are same.
ok, i will trying running your config file
Found the error. A tuple with a single element should have a trailing comma to indicate that its a tuple, if not, it will be considered as a string. Could you try with:
classes=('person',)
@deepakksingh you are absolutely right. thank you so much.
were you able to train on a single machine with multiple GPUs? I tried on a single machine with 4 GPUs. It didn't proceed with training. But it trains on 1gpu, 2 GPUs, 3gpus.
Hi @deepakksingh actually I using single gpu machine with Tesla T4.
Ok👍
@deepakksingh How to label a single category with labelme and instance segmentation? There are cat, cat, cat, cat0, cat1, cat2 or cat-0, cat-1, cat-2, etc. which annotation method is used?thank you!
I use cat-0, cat-1, cat-2 for annotation, and use labelme2coco to convert annotations.json, where the annotation is [], what's the matter?
Sorry, but I haven't done such things, and I haven't used labelme. In one of the cases I just wanted to train specific classes of COCO dataset.
Hi Everyone.
I want to train only 1 class i.e person out of all classes in COCO dataset. I have made changes to config files like below: Is this correct that it will load only person class ? also, i am using load_from parameter to further fine tune. does this parameter cause any trouble ?
