Why

give the project a serious, professional and fresh look
motivate new game programmers to join
motivate designers and new game artists to join
total re-design, resurgence of interesst
broaden the audience for this game
new standard-theme after 5 years
new basis for upcoming themes
old theme is outdated an has design flaws
