UTF-8 support for #60

Is there a plan for localization? Or at least issue/task for UTF-8 support t for trackers? When I put Cyrillic in tracker names - it becomes underscores.

This is indeed an interesting catch. I believe this would require changes deeper in the code and will take some amount of time.

Currently there are only a small handfull of people contributing to the code since Nomie6 became open source, which means we are limited in what we can handle. Hopefully some more will join coming period which will enable us to pick up some enhancements like these.

Ok, will wait for it. Could you tip me on how to translate the interface language? I can see that there are language options in settings. Is process of adding new language is hard?

Hi Alex,

that is not too difficult. In the source code you can find the different language files, where the base.ts file contains the baseline (English).

You can create a new file, take the base case as input and start populating. There are already a couple of examples available in the same folder.

Once done, the new file/language can be integrated as part of Nomie.
