Your fellow Ambassador @amatlack is a big fan!
Hopefully this 2 part article will support the Open Organization Leadership Assessment and vice versa.
After these articles, I hope to write on the book "Tribal Leadership" which further supports what we believe in a different context
.
Seth went through the docs with a round of edits. From Seth: " It does occur to me that these both feel pretty interesting for either TEP or EA.... I wonder if Open Org would be interested in testing the audiences over on one of our sister sites?"
TEP - The enterpriser's project EA - enable architect
Let me know what you think of the edits and the idea of publishing on a sibling site.
I will leave that up to @RonMcFarland. As the author, he should have the final decision on where his work appears.
Ron, these are the publications under discussion:
I had a quick look at those two publication websites. Yes, I think the content of this article might be interesting for those readers too. Also, by posting the article there, we might be able to shine some light on other articles on the Open Org website and our upcoming leadership assessment tool.
I will have a look at Seth's suggestions for this article and get back to you directly.
Thanks,
Ron

Hey there,
Last I looked I saw that you were still reviewing, but the email today indicated you thought these were ready.
I made the minor changes you suggested and accepted all of Seth's suggestions that you felt were ok.. I moved these 2 articles into copy editing.
Hi AmyJune,
Yes, I thought it was ready to go.
Thanks,
Ron

AmyJune,
I just noticed this sentence wasn't changed. "This approach is fine for repeated, well-known, stable processes, but not in changing environments, like factories with complicated but linear predictable activities." wasn't changed to "This approach is fine for repeated, well-known, stable processes like factories with complicated but linear predictable activities, but not in changing environments."

AmyJune,
Looking twice, it looks like you copied and pasted instead of cut and pasted. Here's the original. "This approach is fine for repeated, well-known, stable processes, but not in changing environments, like factories with complicated but linear predictable activities, but not in changing environments.
I have to admit, I had to look close to see it.

Part one was published today. The live URL is https://opensource.com/article/22/10/innovative-open-organization-chart
AmyJune,
I just noticed under the org charts my name is spelled incorrectly. Notice "(Ron MacFarland, CC BY-SA 4.0)". It is McFarland without the "a".
Cheers,
Ron

Awesome! Thanks, @AmyJuneH and team!
I read Team of Teams, by Stanley McChrystal. What I want to do is write an article that will create an Open Organization Chart and information should flow to improve adaptability, collaboration and inclusivity.
