Review community feedback on Open Leadership Definition #93

Consider audiences for the OLD (can we call it OLD!?) and revise definition for various readabilities. Make this accessible to a wider audience.

I agree with @LauraHilliger and take responsibility for the growing complexity. When I'm editing/re-drafting parts of the work, I'm often attempting to reconcile multiple perspectives/ideas into unified statements—and that typically means extending the length of a sentence or choosing a more complicated and nuanced word that might do the work of two or three simpler ones. I will try to knock that off.

Anyway, I think we can do a good deal of simplification for accessibility before we ship our "beta" (0.1? sure!) release and a broader group starts reviewing the work. I am working on editing throughout the week and will make this a goal.

@semioticrobotic that wasn't meant as a criticism on your awesomeness! I just used the Hemingway app on the Adaptability session and thought "Hm, we're all smartie pantses" 😘

Re-engaging this thread and this discussion to piggyback on our work revising the OLD in response to excellent community feedback.

We've compiled a spreadsheet charting the work ahead. Please follow along and hop in!

I think our revisions to the public working draft began the work of simplifying the language and making the definition sound more straightforward. I recognize we'll have more work to do as we receive even more feedback, but think I'll close this for now as we plod along to a release date for v1.0.
