[x] Introductions
[ ] Update from Karl Yang on current status of ORES hardware implementation and development
If a female speaker is found, then talk 1 can be cancelled.
Luiz shared his work on hardware and software that are potentially ORES compliant, at https://github.com/owntech-foundation. This is a great addition to the ORES family.
Barry and Emilio shared their interest in contributing to security and safety aspects of ORES, and other concerns, to make ORES complete
Holger shared his volunteering work at the solar farm cooperative in Germany. Virtual Power Plants (VPP) and Distributed Energy Marketplaces are within the scope of ORES. The current iternation of ORES spec focuses on residential hardware and software layer. The future iteration of ORES will explore standards and specifications of interacting with the Grid, and establish standardized frameworks, architectures, protocols for VPP and Distributed Energy Marketplaces.
Regarding meeting time, Holger suggested a doodle in the mailing list. Current ORES meeting is 8am Pacific Time/5pm Central European Time. Current zoom meetings are set up by the LF Energy staff using LFX platform. We may need LFX's help to make changes of the meeting time if we need to.
