It is happening with any type of stickers whether it is made from video clip or image or url. All the same I think.
Today, when it took long time to get the sticker. I got snapshot of the session I found that a sticker is there on the whatsapp web and was showing uploading sign and took more than 3 minutes to be sent to the recipient.
Anyway this is not happening all the time. Sometimes it is fast.
