State of the Open WebRTC Toolkit project #735

Hello,

In the past I have contributed some fixes to the Android OWT project (https://github.com/open-webrtc-toolkit/owt-client-android) which is now archived. While updating the app of our company through Google Play, a warning is shown that the WebRTC version is old and contains known vulnerabilities (please see https://support.google.com/faqs/answer/12577537).

Does the archiving of the Android project mean that the Android support for OWT has been dropped?

Is the development and maintenance of the OWT project still ongoing?

I hope you can help me with my questions, thank you in advance.

We don't have plan to upgrade owt-client-android repo to work with latest libWebRTC in near term, and no plan for security fix for it.

Some other repos that is not archived will still be maintained with both features updates and security fixes.
