Aside: I wonder if both of the image sources should be ${this.origin}/${value.marker_icon} but that's a different issue...

I'm willing in principle, but not sure quite what to put and where. Something in the module readme? Just listing the JS theme functions (well just the one for now), or actually a demonstration of using a theme function in Drupal?
