Such mediators are implemented as processes, which are grouped into virtual machines in large amounts. The MediatorInstanceManager runs inside such virtual machines and makes creating, deleting and configuring of the individual mediator processes available via REST interface. It is provided by the network vendor as a part of the Mediator solution.
