2 years ago Decision made on the 5G-xhaul call on 1st of June 2022:
- In contrary to already existing ruling (§33, §34 of the TransmitterEquipment 1.0.0-tsp.200715.1225), there shall be no additional instance in the Connector::name list-attribute, but an explicit outsideLabel attribute.
The following changes shall be made to the EquipmentAugment modelling, if not already decided in equipment issue #13 or #17:
- A ConnectorSpec class shall be added.
- An abstraction of type Specify shall be added and connect the new ConnectorSpec class with the existing Connector class and contain the target "/CoreModel:ControlConstruct:ControlConstruct/CoreModel:Equipment:Equipment/CoreModel:Equipment:Connector".
- A Connector_Pac class shall be added.
- A composite association [1/1] shall connect from ConnectorSpec to Connector_Pac.
The following changes shall be made to the EquipmentAugment modelling:
- A Connector_Pac :: outsideLabel[1] : String = "Label of the position not yet defined." attribute with comment "String, which is identifying the physical position of a connector (e.g. RJ45 connector, SFP, IF port) at the outside of the device." shall be added.
If it would be decided not to instantiate attribute-name&value-datatypes for storing e.g. position, sequence number, external label and so on, but to augment explicit attributes to the respective classes, potentially also the connectorLabel should be documented as a explicit attribute.

(Potentially the naming of connectorLabel, equipmentLabel and externalLabel should be revised.)
