7 months ago Decision during the LF ONMI x-haul call on 24th of April 2024: The manufacturerIdentifier attribute turned out to be not really helpful for uniquely identifying the equipment.
- It shall be deleted from
- both tables in §31 (section ActualEquipment in chpt. 9 of the TransmitterEquipment Spec.)
- both tables in §32 (section ExpectedEquipment in chpt. 9 of the TransmitterEquipment Spec.)
- The text "Might be left blank, if manufacturerIdentifier is filled." shall be deleted from the 2nd table (ODUs and Chassis) in §31 (section ActualEquipment in chpt. 9 of the TransmitterEquipment Spec.)
It turned out that the manufacturerIdentifier attribute is very rarely containing any reasonable information. As it is redundant with the manufacturerName attribute, it should be deleted from the EquipmentAugment modelling.
