Unfortunately not 😟
There already existed an open source Android Auto, so it was easy enough for me to build into dash.
But there would be a lot of work needed (if possible at all) to do something similar for CarPlay.
The only version of Apple Carplay for Raspberry Pi that I've seen or heard of is an app for Android. I've seen some people report the app comes with some dongle for Carplay. I think they used Emteria to install Android on a Pi. That's the extent to what I've seen.
I've seen that before, I just really like the ability to control the car itself with the AC because the older Prius(es?) have AC control in the same display/controller (called MFD) that media is played from.
@robert5974 projects which used RPi with Carplay dongles used reverse engineered protocol to communicate between each other. Unfortunately this research still uncompleted (protocol) and can't estimate is it will be done in near future.
Yeah for sure. It wouldn't be an easy feat.

Hi, I am thinking about installing this in a Prius 2009 2nd Gen, and I have an iPhone. If possible, is it easy to add Apple CarPlay support if I wanted to fork this repository?
