We would like to create a new repository to handle those parts of dissemination and exploitation work, that are not to be published outside the openETCS community, such as exploitation plans. For this purpose we need a private repository. The current Dissemination repository will be made publicly accessible.
Therefore we have created the following proposal for discussion:
Proposal
The [Dissemination-Management] project is a proposed open source project under the [Dissemination] container project of WP6.
This proposal is in the Project Proposal Phase (as defined in the openETCS Development Process) and is written to declare its intent and scope.
We solicit additional participation and input from the openETCS community. Please send all feedback to this mailing list:
openetcs-proposals@googlegroups.com.
Background
In Dissemination-Management the following information is planned to be stored:
Exploitation plans
Standardisation plans
Presentations and articles that are not allowed to be published due to legal restrictions
Presentations and articles that are not to be published because they are still in work.
Scope
Dissemination-Management is a subset of WP6 (Dissemination, Exploitation and Standardisation). The repository is to be used for dissemination and exploitation work that cannot be published outside the openETCS community which includes exploitation and standardisation plans. All other WP6 artifacts will be published in the Dissemination repository. In addition, we plan to use this project to make openETCS publications that are subject to legal restrictions available throughout the consortium.
Description
WP6 private repository to be used for non-public WP6 artifacts
Why openETCS?
Dissemination-Management is a part of the activities of openETCS in WP6 (Dissemination, Exploitation and Standardisation).
Initial Contribution
Template for setting up D6.2 (initial exploitation plan and standardisation strategy)
Legal Issues
This repository is by purpose private.
