There seems to be a problem when a track load command (MSG 4001) is sent to the EVC. On Windows, it is usually necessary to sent the command twice before the EVC actually responds with the configuration data. On OS X, executing this command "kills" all TCP/IP comm (this behavior emerged only recently).
Reason yet unknown, but this issue blocks efficient use of SimCtrl with ROOT_Scripted (or to use it all, in the case of OS X).
