This issue is not really directly related to our branches oF core issues, so I am closing it.

It looks like the best you can currently do with the Kinect is get the tilt motor working. Going to try the Xtion next

We should look into seeing if the drivers can be cc'ed for the Pi.

apparently it is likely a USB driver/bandwidth issue. I ran into similar issues with the Beaglebone
