re-register push notification

I am working on push notification and try to re-register but unable on both 
iphone and android

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.register push notification 
2.deregister the notification
3.try to re-register 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
re-register should be done

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
deregister is not success in android and in iphone deregister is success but 
re-register is not success

I am getting push notification in android devices even I have deregistered push

No, only tested on Android.
Does Android works for you?

yes I have tested on android as well as i-phone.
it takes very long time to de-register push notification in android .
Even de-registering , push message is displayed for few minutes.

And in i-phone, de-register is never success.
