@skoehnen could you have a look at this paper http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.jneumeth.2016.03.002 and tell me if we should register for the suggested artifact removal method the above suggested term as technique?

I would say we should include it, but the name model-driven artefact removal is very generic and mean a whole bunch of techniques in different fields. For example Image Processing has a lot of artifact removal methods that are model-driven.
