oh dear, I would really love to have a [custom data reader]() for glue-viz.

(btw: somewhat already coupled to yt)

Uh, just works like a charm on HDF5 data sets :)

What we need now are more plugins, e.g. the histogram is only on spectral intensities if working on a (pre-binned) phase space, which is not of much use for us.
