@simopil Could you verify whether my patch fixes the issue on your LVDS laptop?

I didn't try script with fix, but I tried to check "ls /sys/class/drm/ | grep -q LVDS" output, and it's empty instead same command without "-q" that returns "card0-LVDS-1". Edit: sorry I realized that -q option disables stdoutput, I think script is OK, I'll try to test it tomorrow, but I don't use plasma scaling so I don't know how to check it, maybe looking in kdeglobals file?
