Black screen after installing bbswitch #57

System:

openSUSE Leap 15.2 (new installation)
Dell XPS 15 9560
Nvidia GTX 1050 graphic card
Secure Boot is off

Step to reproduce:

Install Leap 15.2
Install Nvidia drivers (G05)
Follow this README instruction for Nvidia power off support since 390.xxx (bbswitch)

Issue: Black screen right after the Leap loading screen, when the login screen should be shown. Ctrl+Alt+F6 does nothing.

Let me know if you need the output of any commands and I'll try to get it from SSH.

Just figured it out. It seems that for some reason, my laptop needs to have acpi_rev_override=1 added to the kernel parameters for bbswitch to work.
