There are various reasons for dropping this:

Doesn't fit into the DE
When using custom Qt styles, it looks really bad (https://www.reddit.com/r/openSUSE/comments/4jrghn/yast_and_theming/)
Breaks multiscreen due to a bug in the Qt style engine: bsc#955381

As an alternative, would it be possible to drop it from the default package selection, as suggested by revealed on bugzilla?
