I just noticed the clock module in Waybar was significantly refactored in version 0.9.18. The configuration format has changed, and this results in the calendar tooltip being broken. I don't think this was effectively communicated in the Waybar release changelog, but that's another matter...
I am currently updating my configuration (which is derived from the openSUSEway one), and I will submit relevant updates for openSUSEway once I'm done.
