I guess you are referring to some opensuse documentation - could you post a link?
Sorry if I was not clear about the request. NVIDIA has 2 branches of drivers. The production branch and the new feature branch, The production branch is what Opensuse uses and is currently at the driver 550 (550.107 even while Opensuse is still at 550.100) The new Feature branch is at drive 560, which includes all the new features including explicit sync.
Opensuse does not allow for an easy switch from the production branch to the New feature branch without doing it "the hard way". My request was if it would be possible to create an OPI option so NVIDIA users can easily switch the the New Feature branch of drivers.
A link to the latest NVIDIA drivers can be fine here, where you can see the 2 different driver branches:
The Opensuse documentation is here:

The "Hard" way: https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:NVIDIA_the_hard_way
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I'm always frustrated when [...]
Opensuse seems very slow to rollout NVIDIA Drivers. It even skips 555 entirely and now we are waiting for 560
Describe the solution you'd like A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.
Is it possible to use OPI to install the NVIDIA feature branche drivers and be more up to date without having to resort to using "The hard way" to install the drivers (as they call it). And possible break your install on kernel updates.
Describe alternatives you've considered A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
Using "the hard way"
