There is a very nice responsive schedule template on codyhouse we should steal from :-)

May I could share this free template https://github.com/almasaeed2010/AdminLTE... Hope it could be a good reference, too!

@adrianovieira for what? :-)

adrianovieira commented 6 years ago

Sorry! For calendar (e.g. https://adminlte.io/themes/AdminLTE/pages/calendar.html)!

@hennevogel what do you exactly want to take from it?

this schedule looks quite similar to the one we had before changing it to the current one. One important think was that we wanted the schedule was valid when there were many rooms, this seems to have the same problem.

The current schedule has some problems, but not sure if that is the solution. 🤔

Maybe it's not strictly related with this entry but I strongly suggest to add an export feature as Frab, xCal and iCal formats. So schedule can be consumed by standard calendar apps (like smartphone ones) or specialized conference apps like Giggity.

railsconf is another good example of a many rooms/many slots schedule. I especially like how rooms are displayed side-by-side when there is enough room and if there isn't it's organized by timeslots.
