FairSIM and image reconstruction #7

The settings shown in the software section here do not seem to work with the FairSIM plugin, which needs a minimum of 5 phases per angle. FairSIM also shows a log of Java errors whenever trying to open an image. How did you reconstruct the images taken using FairSIM?

I have produced a pattern with 5 phases per angle, but FairSIM still does not work.

In the end we used two rotational angles with four phases each. That worked out to end up with a resolution improvement of ~1.4x. Did you follow the installation instructions given by the fairSIM website? Perhaps it's an issue with a newer version of Fijj/Java? Alternatively we could also offer you processing the data with our homemade code. It's matlab-based and developed by Rainer Heintzmann. This also worked nicely. I'm actually curious how your images look like.

Also one thing you could try is processing the data with SRRF - some pseudo super-resolution ;-)

Can you see the peaks when doing an FFT on the images?
