Add support for a non-relational database such as HADOOP and/or MongoDB.

A graph database could be helpful for external data analytics packages and selection operations. It would allow for the antz tree and link structure to be described using a 3rd party standard. Though no graph DB can be considered standard. Neo4J is a good candidate, although it supports Python it does not support C.

node = node
- Node has properties and (optional) 'labels' (Person, Book, City...)
edge = relationship (akin to a foreign key)
- An edge (relationship) is directional, but also bi-traversable. Edges also have attributes (propertires) and a defined type (IS_FRIENDS_WITH, HAS_READ...)
attributes = properties (name value pairs)

Also, may want to consider using:

Hyperedges (or intermediary nodes) are often created to model relationships that exist between more than two entities.
