[Feature Request] Astra2 default channel list #2700

There's currently no channel list installed by default for Astra2.

What files (lamedb/lamedb5, userbouquet.favourites.tv etc.) are needed? I've done a fresh scan and can send them on if necessary.

This is installed. The name is defaultsat. Astra2 is default? You can't create a extended package?

An ABM scan takes roughly 30 seconds, although setting it up initially takes a bit more time. ABM is pre-installed on ATV for several weeks.

I am pretty certain if defaultsat is installed, user then adds bouquets, subsequent update of defaultsat will remove user changes. If I am correct in this, are there any benefits in adding 28.2 to defaultsat?

On a clean install of the latest openATV7.2 image, the wizard correctly detected Astra2.

However, on the Do you want to install a channel list page, the availableChannel list type options are:

Selecting the first option creates Astra1 bouquets:

The All channels list does not contain Astra 2 channels.

What is benefit in installing something that is stale. There are always changes. And as I said, if you update the package, you interrupt updated bouquets.

Maybe that whole section in FIW should be removed?

Fresh data is always best, in my opinion it would be a nice user experience to see something straight away on setup, even just to know that what they've done works.

I also think that the signal meter should be presented/offered when a user selects a satellite that Enigma2 can't lock onto.

We are using this -> https://github.com/openatv/enigma2-plugin-settings-defaultsat And there is no plan to add extra code in enigma.

Perhaps we could remove these files then?

These files belongs to:

/openatv/enigma2/
    bouquets.tv
    userbouquet.favourites.tv

They where moved and removed. -> Delete them too! How about

/openatv/enigma2/lamedb

too?
