For jamison I used to have it contact the database on kedumba but there have been lots of problems with it apparently related to the firewall setup on kedumba.
So, I've simplified things by adding mysql to jamison and moving the databases civicrm and oaf there.
But this of course means that things are not currently backed up for wordpress and civicrm
