New memory leak in rails app? #1829

Memory is going up and down like a yoyo since we deployed the new theme. Looks like there might be a problem. Also instance has hung a couple of times now. Not good. Need to resolve ASAP.

Potential fix in 4e2d1628c3752bea9084f5e3fa3aeb37985ddb6e - so far so good though we'll have to wait a few hours (and look at the memory graphs in new relic) to really know. 🤞🏼

Memory usage looks stable after a couple of hours. So, I think we can call this solved. Phew.
