Remove Captcha for Trusted etc. #839

Perhaps there can be an alternative to address both the spam and smoothness -

At certain point if a contributor becomes trusted e.g. ambassador / faciliator #383 they should not necessarily be facing captchas which is a tool but blunt at doing so - perhaps an opportunity to rely less on captcha based on contributions.

Captchas can be big drain on productivity and some users just push for public common good vs personal interests

Perhaps something that encourages "behaviour we want" :carrot: vs "behaviour we want to stop" :stick:

Hi @pinkforest can you let me know where you're getting a captcha?

As far as I'm aware if you're logged into the site, you shouldn't be prompted for a captcha.

I'm getting it at - whilst being logged in

I created a new user account with no admin permissions. Was able to replicate the below:

  • Submitting contact form - when e.g. maintaining agency particulars / information etc.
  • View FOI email address for X authority - this is particularly if you maintain particulars of them and active on that sense

I wasn't able to replicate the issue while making a new request.

I got the captcha for new request after drafting one and then clicking preview and captcha appears w/ submit request
