Please implememnt that the user-data.sh script can be loaded from an external file. currently the generic-vnfm needs to be recompiled when the script is changed.

Was already existing but not documented. You can define the external user-data with this configuration paramter:

vnfm.ems.userdata.filepath
default: /etc/openbaton/openbaton-vnfm-generic-user-data.sh
