cell type display change is too slow #106

I really like part of the new HSPA/HSPA+ display during logging; the old way had buttons for many things, most of which were impossible on my phone, and I couldn't actually read them. So having just the current mode displayed is great.

I noticed that my phone (CM 12.1) switches from H to H+ often. radiobeacon does some kind of slow fade to the new version, and I have seen it get behind several changes I am not sure if this is related, but I have also seen "-113 dBm" shown for cells while I have 5 bars and I know the value should be more like -80.

I suggest removing the delay/animation entirely and just update the screen as fast as possible. Particularly for HSPA/HSPA+, it would be nice to left justify the text in a box that's wide enough for all, so that flickering of the HSPA part of HSPA+ is minimized.

Perhaps related, the GPS quality bar graph is blinking, which doesn't make sense, and I am continuing to see the cell signal strength not be updated.

With the latest f-droid version, I no longer see HSPA vs HSPA+. But I wonder if that's another issue, and that after that's fixed this issue will re-appear.

I am not seeing this any more. If it recurs, it's probably different and I'll just file a new issue.
