Question about updates of data and updates of map on website #169

I'm contributing anonymous data from September on, but I never saw any change on the map on the website https://radiocells.org/

On https://radiocells.org/stats/countries it says there are no updates for october, but I've uploaded some data for Germany in september and october. And I hope, some other people are uploading, too. On https://radiocells.org/country/DE there is a download with the note "Last update 2016-08-21". When inspecting the data, I see the newest data in cell_zone or wifi_zone is from 2016-08-08 / 2016-08-04.

Are there any problems receiving/updating data from clients or is this just an issue of the website?

Thanks for reporting!

Indeed there's been a little hickup due to some recent database adjustments. But no fear, the data uploads are fine!

I partly fixed the website issues:

On https://radiocells.org/stats/countries it says there are no updates for october,

Cells have been processed by now and recent cell stats for October are available. Wifis will follow, but as we're currently re-importing the wifi dataset stats might still take a day or two to catch up.

On https://radiocells.org/country/DE there is a download with the note "Last update 2016-08-21".

Fixed, recent files are available by now

but I never saw any change on the map on the website https://radiocells.org/

Just cleared the server cache, so map tiles are being rebuilt. Check it out by now..

You could also verify 'your' cells by selecting your provider, zoom to max on places, where you been in September and check the created at / last updated tag in the popups: This information is available even if the map tiles are outdated..

I'll keep you updated, as soon as wifis re-import has finished,

Cheers Toby
