custom keyboard layout setting ignored (MIUI) #409

I set the keyboard layout for French and German to QWERTY, but the keyboard continues to change to AZERTY and QWERZ, respectively.

I've tried rebooting and redoing the customised keyboard styles, but no change.

xiaomi redmi note 8 pro
Android 10
MIUI 12

Same problem here setting QWERTY for French, keyboard always switches to AZERTY:

OpenBoard v1.4.5 from Aurora store
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra
LineageOS v20
Android 13
set languages: Italian (system), French, English USA

It was wrong setting "French" and QWERTY keyboard for French: I discover by chance that solution is setting "French (QUERTY)"
