Clipboard paste doesn't insert at current pointer location but after word #810

Describe the bug Clipboard paste doesn't insert at current pointer location but after the word, the pointer is located in.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Enable the clipboard key in OpenBoard settings, if not already enabled.
  2. Copy some text.
  3. Place the pointer in the middle of a word in an input field (I used Fennec/Firefox browser and MiX Text Editor to test).
  4. Press the clipboard key.

Expected behavior Copied text is being inserted at the position of the pointer.

Also encountered this - Oneplus 6T, Android 12, in firefox
