Would like to be able to add a show to a spot that has regular scheduled programming. An example is at 16:00 there is a CFET default show for that hour, daily. I want to add a test show at the same time, just for the one hour to test and cannot do this because of the show. To do this I would have to go in an adjust the show to start next day to free up a time slot

Create the function and only allow a PL or media to be scheduled over a time slot providing that it is within the next 24 hours and not more than one hour duration.
