It is not readily apparent why the Classifiers in Figure 25 could not have been either the UML Primitive Types or the types defined in the XMLPrimitiveTypes library of the NIEM submission. The <> Stereotype is applied to the Classifiers, but it would appear that the semantic associated with that Stereotype could have been expressed in the form of OCL Constraints instead of introducing many semantically-redundant types defined elsewhere in OMG specifications.

Include details - why the types like (AMLInteger, AML....) are defined? why did we not use the standard types from other OMG standards?
