Polution, water vapour, aerosols, etc. all affect the passage of sunlight through the atmosphere. Aerosols are mostly (completely?) invisible to EUMETSAT SEVIRI. So it'd be great to include on-the-ground measurements of air quality (especially if we can get a live feed, to use these during inference)
If I remember correctly, polution can change PV power output by something like up to 15%, so it's significant.
