Detailed Description

We're moving forward with the national probabilistic forecast data visualization

Context

Would be good to see a couple UI options for the national probabilistic visualization.

Try some colors from the the color palette and provide some screenshots in a PR.

Hi @dantravers, @peterdudfield, and @braddf, Here are a couple screenshots with different OCF colors and opacities. 8 is a variation on one of the blues we use in the Delta View.3 might go the best with the map. I've added the 4h-forecast in on some of these so you can see what the contrast might look like.

peterdudfield commented 1 year ago

I quite like 3.

dantravers commented 1 year ago

Yep, agree. Although I just realised 3 doesn't have the 4 hour forecast. Is it still legible with that in as well? @braddf ?

braddf commented 1 year ago

@rachel-labri-tipton I like 3 as well! I think should be okay with the 4-hour, and we can re-assess after a bit if it is irksome in the wild. Opacity looks like a good start for sure as well 👍
