Same comments here, as on the other repos: it seems, to me, to be kind-of insane to do development in two different repos, and then try to do bulk merges between them. From my own personal perspective, this appears to be a kind-of a gross violation of what every book and blog ever written about software development recommends -- doing development in this way seems, to me, to be a "worst-practices" kind of practice.

I'm quite totally confused about why I seem to have a solitary opinion on this.
