@seanlinsley is the Jekyll fix mandatory? Was it updated by github ?

I don't know; all I know is that following the install instructions, I had to make those changes for Jekyll to run. Is a specific version of Jekyll listed somewhere?

it is probably not specified. I will check what version they are using for github and make use of bundler maybe

Ah, github-pages specifically requires Jekyll 1.5.1

Okay, I removed my Jekyll changes. This should be good to go.
