Support for Policers (Rate-limiters) [ 2-color, SrTCM(RFC 2697), TrTCM(RFC 2698)] #462

Hi OC-Team,

There is a need from the vendor (Company: Juniper Networks Inc) to support the following items:

  1. Configuration of simple 2-color policer, SrTCM (RFC 2697) and TrTCM (RFC 2698).
  2. These policers can be applied directly to interfaces or sub-interfaces or a particular family (e.g. ipv4 or ipv6 etc)
  3. These policers can be an action under a rule for a given acl-set in oc-acl.

Please let me know if the above requirements look ok then I can propose an OC model for policers.

Please let me know if you have a better solution to the above requirements.

Slight modification to my early request.

There is a need from the vendor (Company: Juniper Networks Inc) to support the following items:

These policers can be applied directly to sub-interfaces or a particular family (e.g. ipv4 or ipv6 etc) under the sub-interfaces.

Right now modelling such policers via OC-QOS seems to be more appropriate.

Can you please revert back on the above requirement?
