Thinking about this... rather than "issue" a certificate (which could be on paper), it might make sense to "publish" a certificate at a static URL so that the conforming product can link to this in its marketing materials AND so that customers could see what product was certified.
What do you think @Nan-Zhou?
Totally agree, @RobDolinMS , a URL might be a better way of certificating. And the Cert WG is the group of people who will finally grant the certificate to a product, correct?
From our call today, we discussed that the OCI CertWG will initially approve certifications with the final approval going to the OCI TB (two phase process). The assumption is that the OCI CertWG would do the initial screening.
Closing per our call today.
Not sure should it be a program or a committee, e.g., the Trademark Board or Certification Working Group, to issue an official certificate of approval?
(5) Certify
If your product passes testing and peer review, the OCI Certification Program will issue an official certificate of approval.
