oh we don't actually need to merge this - this was to do an ls and echo of the PWD to see if the expected files are there (and they are). We will want to re-run the jobs in #91, and if the error occurs again, add the same print statements there! And an alternative (which I just thought of now) is we actually could merge here, and then the PR author can rebase and we get this debug logging for every future run. ping @jdolitsky
