How is the data entry for openCost planned? In my opinion, two ways are possible:

  1. The standardized "reporting" of an institution from its own "budget system" via API. This would certainly require transferring a lot of metadata to uniquely identify the publication, or just the DOI (if available) and the cost data.
  2. Or a "manual reporting" of only the cost data into an entry mask in openCost, because every published article is documented there. I guess that variant 1 is planned.

Would the reporting work via a OAI Schnittstelle? We would not use our own budget system but our repository as a source ...
