We have a large issue backlog at https://github.com/rgleason/ocpn-dev-manual/. Need to find out have to handle this, and how to direct new bugs int this repo instead.

Github move issues feature https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-m&sxsrf=ALeKk00JySG408iIU1REGKQnjqdSV6vTlw%3A1628528517631&q=github+move+issues+feature&oq=github+move+issues+feature&aqs=heirloom-srp..

leamas commented 3 years ago

@rgleason: If you could actually move the issues according to that link it would be really helpful

rgleason commented 3 years ago

I think I would like to copy rather than move, as you will shitcan ones I want as reminders.

leamas commented 3 years ago

Please do, the important thing is that we can get the master copy here and start working on them.

BTW: note that I started som discussions in https://github.com/opencpn-manuals/main/discussions

rgleason commented 3 years ago

Thanks. Traveling now. Maybe tomorrow will be able to do this.

leamas commented 3 years ago

You will probably have to first transfer the project rgleason/ocpn-dev-manual -> opencpn-manuals/ocpn-dev-manual before you can copy things around.

I will not use my powers to close anything unless we agree on it. No idea how it would even be possible to shitcan anything, and certainly not interested in finding out. That said, if you have issues which you think are personal they could certainly be left in your repo.

https://docs.github.com/en/issues/tracking-your-work-with-issues/transferring-an-issue-to-another-repository

I have found that I can only transfer Issues to repositories under github/rgleason/

I can simply reproduce these and summarize, or I can make a link. What do you want?

rgleason commented 3 years ago

Copied over now. Done

leamas commented 3 years ago

Great! Ok to close this bug?

rgleason commented 3 years ago

Copied some to plugins incorrectly and have just moved them. Sorry about that.
