Possibly to User Manual, but I don't see how it affects development. Do you?

nope it does not. PS: I am using this as a convenient placeholder and way to have Issues related to the USER MANUAL.

Bdbcat summarizes the multitouch situation at the bottom (totally dependent on wxwidgets version used) Further discussion in an open Issues: https://github.com/OpenCPN/OpenCPN/issues/2057

This has to wait until wxWidgets 3.2
