Hi,,

I need to check if BadgeOS is compatible with Wordpress 3.8 as I get a FATAL ERROR when I try to activate it

brichards commented 10 years ago

Yes, we are actively developing on WP3.8. Could you paste the full error you receive? Could you also share the names of the other plugins you have activated?

marketbay commented 10 years ago

WOW, now that was a super fast reply

I'm not getting an error code, not even in the error log.

I'm running the following plugins

Better AdSense Targeting Blog in Blog Click-Fraud Monitoring Google Analytics Dashboard Google XML Sitemaps Jetpack by WordPress.com Newsletter Quick Cache Revenue Share for Authors(RSP) Revision Control Shareaholic | share buttons, analytics, related content Social PopUP - Google+, Facebook and Twitter popup Widget Title Links WordPoints WordPress SEO WP-Optimize WP Better Emails WP images lazy loading WP Resized Image Quality WP User Avatar

brichards commented 10 years ago

Could you temporarily disable all of those, activate BadgeOS, and then re-activate them?

marketbay commented 10 years ago

I did try it just now, but no success.

Is BadgeOS compatible with the classipress theme

brichards commented 10 years ago

We've done our best to make BadgeOS theme-agnostic, but it is possible for a theme to create a conflict. Could you switch to one of the default themes (e.g. twentytwelve) and see if you're able to activate BadgeOS that way?

marketbay commented 10 years ago

My Theme seems to be the problem.

And I was so looking forward to use the BadgeOS

brichards commented 10 years ago

Contact AppPresser and let them know about this conflict. We'd be happy to work with them to resolve it. I'm sure that whatever the issue may be it is a relatively minor one.

tw2113 commented 10 years ago

To be clear, you'll want to contact http://www.appthemes.com/, not AppPresser, regarding the Classipress compatibility.

brichards commented 10 years ago

Right, AppThemes. Just came back to correct myself after realizing my mistake. Thanks, @tw2113 :)

BadgeOS does not run on 3.8 for me...

tw2113 commented 10 years ago

hey @gfxguru If you could please, start a support thread over at https://wordpress.org/plugins/badgeos/ and we'll help you debug there.
