What's the point of having a GitHub repo for a project that's supposed to be open source if the repo isn't kept up to date with the released versions?
This repo is showing it's sitting at version 3.5 when both 3.6 and now 3.6.1 have been released through WordPress.
In order to use this, I have to make changes to the core, then monkey patch them to the released version rather than simply updating my repo as I should be able to. This same issue prevents me from submitting a proper PR to the repo because it's not up to date.
Please either use this repo as the actual master or publish access to the real master so we can use it properly.
